A Warehouse Operative is required to join a successful organisation located in Camberley, Surrey on an ongoing temporary basis. Working across core areas in the business, the successful candidate will process stock items in a safe, efficient and accurate manner.

Previous experience of working in a Distribution Centre environment preferred however not essential.

Working 8.30-5pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am-4pm Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking:

  • Pick all stock accurately
  • Pick in an efficient manner
  • Present goods to packer as per company standard to optimise efficiency

Packing:

  • Check all stock during packing
  • Pack all stock as per company process
  • Pack in a safe and efficient manner

Goods in/put away:

  • Unloading and checking of incoming deliveries
  • Putting stock away in relevant storage area

Replenishment:

  • Movement of stock to the relevant pick face according to company standards

Loading:

  • Building and loading pallets from the packing station
  • Safe loading onto onward vehicles according to company standards

General:

  • Pro-actively ensuring a safe and tidy working environment in the Distribution Centre
  • Safe and efficient operation of all Distribution Centre equipment
  • Comply with company regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure safe working practices, by following company and Health and Safety guidelines
  • Report any accidents or near misses according to company standards

Skills and experience:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organisation skills
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
  • Basic IT skills
