CNC/ Robotics Operator/ programmer - Fanuc / mazak urgently required to work for a leading specialist manufacturing business based in Slough. Specialising in the Aviation, Aerospace, Automotive and oil and gas industries where compliance and conformance are at the highest level the process run by the Robot is key to the business.
We are looking for an experienced Operator who can ideally programme any of the chosen controls, Fanuc/ Mazak etc and have the ability to learn new controls. This is a specialist machine conducting a specialist type of work that we will offer full training on including the process, function and reasoning.
We are looking for someone who we can train to programme and operate a number of cnc's and ABB Robots and Fanuc controls, The long term plane being that You will be setting up, amending and writing programmes both online or offline, we have the capability for both.
This role is one that will allow you to take on additional responsibility and lead the team, plan the work and supervise the team within the machining Cell.
Responsibilities:
- Write, Adjust and Amend programmes online or offline
- Operate and ideally programme CNC machines and a specialist Robot and other machines in accordance to guidelines
- Adjust Robot and machines to match customer product spec
- Read and Interpret job cards, diagrams and specs, and set up programmes
Ideal Knowledge/ Experience
- ABB Robots
- FANUC/ Mazak CONTROLS
- Machine Operation
- Ability to read drawings
- Work to Aviation/ aerospace compliance and legislation
We are open to Graduate or machine operators who have the knowledge and experience of ABB Robots and machining controls including Mazak and Fanuc, however further training will be provided.
