Role Overview: As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential accounting support to a range of clients. Your responsibilities will include preparing accounts, assisting with tax matters, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts, financial statements, and management accounts for a variety of clients.
- Assist clients with tax compliance, including VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records using accounting software.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure accuracy.
- Support the team with client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to team discussions and meetings, sharing insights to improve service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA or ACA.
- Some experience (X+ years) working in an accountancy practice, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with tax regulations, VAT, and self-assessment tax returns.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interactions.
- Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work.
