Our client, a growing Top 40 accountancy practice, is looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to join their thriving Farnham office.

The Role

- Work on a variety of interesting and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with seniors, managers, and partners as required- Prepare audit files, undertake audit planning, and lead/assist with fieldwork, gradually taking on more responsibility, including leading smaller audits- Ensure audit assignments are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget- Prepare corporation tax computations alongside audit work- Manage your own workload effectively while ensuring that client expectations are exceeded- Supervise, train, and assist junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise- Build strong relationships with team members and clients, adopting a collaborative and professional approach- While the focus is on audit, there will also be opportunities to gain experience in accounts preparation

About You

- ACCA/ACA part-qualified with at least 1-2 years of UK audit experience- Ideally, a university degree (2:1 or above) or minimum three A-Levels (A, B, B or higher)- Experience with Iris, Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH is desirable but not essential- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, with the ability to pick up new software quickly- A positive, proactive, and confident attitude with a keen eye for detail- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and produce high-quality work- A great team player who is also self-motivated and eager to learn
