Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on a variety of complex audit assignments across multiple sectors.
  • Manage audit files, oversee planning, and guide fieldwork to completion.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring high standards in their work.
  • Ensure all audits are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
  • Prepare statutory accounts, finalise accounts, and handle corporation tax computations.
  • Stay current with industry standards and updates in financial regulations.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Contribute to pricing services and assisting with client proposals.


About You

  • Qualifications: ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in UK audit practice, with experience leading audits and managing junior staff.
  • Academic Background: Degree (2:1 or above) or minimum 3 A-levels (A, B, B or above).
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH is advantageous.
  • Competencies: Strong IT skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Leadership: Confident in managing teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Communication: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written skills.
