The Role:

As an Audit Senior, you'll work across a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality audit and accounts assignments, and helping to guide and support more junior colleagues. Duties include:

  • Leading a range of audit assignments across multiple sectors
  • Preparing audit files, planning and completing fieldwork
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff
  • Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
  • Managing client communication throughout the process
  • Using cloud-based software for audit and reporting tasks
  • Supporting the Managers and Directors with accurate, timely outputs
  • Playing a part in quoting and pricing for new clients
  • Building relationships across the team and with clients

What you'll need:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified)
  • At least 3 years' experience in UK accountancy practice, with audit as a focus
  • Good knowledge of cloud-based software (e.g. Xero, Caseware, CCH)
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to pick up new software quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
  • A proactive and positive approach
