Role Responsibilities
  • Leading a variety of audit assignments across different sectors, collaborating with managers and partners
  • Preparing audit files, conducting audit planning, and leading fieldwork
  • Supervising and supporting junior team members, providing training and reviewing their work
  • Ensuring audits are completed on time, to a high standard, and within the agreed budget
  • Using accounting software to deliver accurate reports for managers, directors, and clients
  • Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
  • Keeping your technical knowledge up to date with industry and economic trends
  • Assisting with pricing services and supporting new client proposals
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues and clients, ensuring exceptional client service

Candidate Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or nearing completion
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in UK audit practice, with additional accounts experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH is beneficial
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, with the ability to quickly pick up new software
  • High attention to detail and a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while producing high-quality work
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring and developing junior colleagues
