- Lead diverse and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors, collaborating with managers and partners when necessary.
- Prepare audit files, conduct audit planning, and manage or assist with fieldwork.
- Supervise junior team members, allocating work, providing training, and reviewing their output.
- Ensure audit assignments are completed to high standards within agreed budgets and timelines.
- Oversee and review work done by less experienced team members.
- Use accounting software to generate accurate reports for clients, managers, and directors.
- Prepare and finalize statutory accounts under the supervision of your line manager.
- Compile corporation tax computations.
- Stay informed on technical developments in the industry and broader economic issues.
- Contribute to service pricing and assist with new client proposals.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.

- ACCA/ACA qualified or nearing qualification.
- At least 3 years’ experience in UK audit practice, with some exposure to accounts preparation.
- A degree (2:1 or higher) or strong A-Level results (A, B, B or above).
- Familiarity with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH software is advantageous.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel.
- Positive, proactive, and confident, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality output.
