Role Overview: As a Personal Tax Manager, you will take on a pivotal role in leading and managing the personal tax department, overseeing the preparation and submission of personal tax returns, providing expert guidance, and ensuring top-tier service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the personal tax department, including mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of personal tax returns for a diverse client base.
  • Provide expert guidance on tax planning, compliance, and personal tax matters.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and regulations, communicating their impact to clients.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, understanding their financial needs and goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ATT, CTA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Substantial experience (X+ years) in personal tax within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
