ProTalent are working alongside a Top 100 UK Firm who are seeking a Personal Tax hire to join their team. As a Personal Tax Semi Senior, you will play a crucial role in supporting their clients with their personal tax affairs. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in personal tax compliance and advisory services within a dynamic and supportive environment. This firm is also open to considering candidates at various levels of experience, including tax trainees or more experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and review of personal tax returns for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct tax computations and analysis to determine tax liabilities and identify tax planning opportunities for clients.
  • Support clients with tax compliance matters, including tax payments, filing deadlines, and resolving tax queries.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate any relevant updates or impacts to clients and team members.
  • Assist in researching and resolving complex tax issues, providing recommendations and guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tax assignments.
  • Assist in managing client relationships, serving as a point of contact and addressing client inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Support senior team members in tax planning initiatives and provide input on tax-efficient strategies for clients.
  • Stay current with industry trends and participate in professional development activities to enhance tax knowledge and skills.
