About the Role

TPF Recruitment are seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join a dynamic team in the Farnham area. This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid and flexible working options. You will be an integral part of a supportive team, managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and providing expert tax advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with HM Revenue & Customs and internal deadlines
  • Preparing and processing tax returns and P11Ds from client-provided information
  • Calculating and advising on tax liabilities and payment due dates
  • Assisting clients with queries and providing ad-hoc advice
  • Billing personal portfolio clients upon completion of work
  • Handling client correspondence, phone calls, and meetings
  • Supporting partners and staff with technical tax queries
  • Assisting junior team members as needed
  • Preparing technical reports related to income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
  • Dealing with HMRC correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries
  • Providing general support to the tax team
Requirements
  • Experience in a private client tax team
  • Ideally ATT qualified
  • Self-starter with high resilience and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Positive, proactive, and commercial mindset
  • Confident, tactful, and discreet
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work independently
