Description
- Using various online banking websites to create payments and download statements
- Ensuring all payments are prepared and made on a timely basis
- Purchase Ledger administration including the preparation of supplier/employee expense payment runs
- Reconciliation of all banks
- Credit control
- Sales ledger administration and reconciliation
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Updating cash books
- Input templates onto the banking systems
- Ensuring all filing is kept up to date
- Providing support to the Manager as necessary
- Working with the external teams to ensure all entries are recorded in a timely manner
- Office support and administrative duties as required
Profile
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Previous basic general accounting experience
- May be working towards an accountancy degree
- Knowledge of Xero - desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work constantly to tight deadlines
- Ability to work with changing priorities
- Must be a team player and able to work on own initiative
