This well-known and fast-growing firm are looking to add to their outsourcing department within their Farnham office. The role is to support the outsourcing senior in managing the bookkeeping process, it’s not just a traditional processing role. It will involve client contact and supporting the bookkeeping team.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
- Supporting the Outsourcing Senior in managing the day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month end reviews
- Preparing, reviewing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes
- Providing support to clients on various bookkeeping/accounts packages
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience within accountancy practice
- AAT training
- Software usage: Xero, Sage, Quickbooks
- VAT experience
- CIS awareness
- Passionate about delivering great service and a high level of client care
