An interior design studio based in Farnham are seeking an Interior Architect to join the team for 9 months maternity cover with the view to this going permanent after this. Out client have been established for 8 years and predominately focus on high end residential projects around the Surrey / Berkshire areas for high-net-worth clients, with project values typically in the region of £3 million to £20 million.

The Interior Architect will be joining a team of 6 and will be reporting directly to the Directors. will need to be confident in creating joinery drawing packages for client presentation and tender, creating CAD technical drawing packages of Plans, Elevations, Sections, Small Power, Lighting, RCP's, Floor and Walls finishes.

Interior Architect Job Overview
  • Confidently produce joinery drawing packages to convey design intent, support client presentations, and facilitate tenders.
  • Develop detailed bathroom drawings, including tile layouts, and provide specifications for sanitaryware, cabinetry, brassware, and accessories for construction.
  • Manage tight deadlines while efficiently handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Create comprehensive CAD technical drawing packages, including Plans, Elevations, Sections, Small Power layouts, Lighting designs, Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs), and Floor and Wall finishes.
  • Oversee projects from initial concept to final completion.
  • Participate in client site visits as needed.
Interior Architect Job Requirements
  • Possess 5+ years of relevant experience in the high-end or luxury interiors market.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Vectorworks.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the full design process.
  • Be self-motivated, proactive, and ready to take initiative from the outset.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of building regulations and planning laws.
  • Display excellent technical drawing abilities.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office for MAC.
  • Hold a full, clean driving license for attending site visits
Interior Architect Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
  • Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm
  • 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Discretionary end of year bonus
