In this role, the successful Graduate/Junior Bookkeeper will be managing the day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month end reviews, management accounts preparation, reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements, while resolving queries and preparing, reviewing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes.
The ideal Graduate/Junior Bookkeeper would come from a similar role and be eager to progress to Bookkeeper Manager within the Top 25 Accountancy organisation and be prepared to work more in an office environment at least 3 days a week.
The Role:
- Managing day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month end reviews
- Management accounts preparation
- Reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements
The Person:
- Finance Degree or ATT Qualified
- Accounting Software
- Happy to work in office 3 days a week minimum
- Commutable to Farnham
- Progress to Bookkeeper Manager
