Ivy House Farnham, a leading provider of exceptional childcare, are seeking a talented Nursery Chef to join their dynamic team.

In this permanent role, you'll have the opportunity to create delicious, nutritious meals that fuel the growth and development of the little ones, all while fostering a warm and inclusive environment.

Job Role :

  • Assume full control of the nursery kitchen, from menu creation to food ordering and budgeting, working along Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 3.30pm
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health regulations and manage food allergies with care
  • Occasionally deliver engaging cooking sessions and classes for the children
  • Prepare and serve hot lunches and prepare dinners for approximately 35 children
  • Collaborate with the nursery team to provide a holistic, nurturing experience for our little ones
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a chef, with a passion for creating delicious, nutritious meals
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, allergies, and dietary requirements
  • Strong organizational and budgeting skills to manage the nursery kitchen effectively
