CNC Miller Setter/Operator

A market-leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team. This role involves setting, and operating 5-axis Mazak CNC milling machines to produce a variety of metallic components for industries including aerospace, automotive, and motorsport. The company offers a flexible working week, compressed into four days.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts. This includes setting up and operating Mazak 5-axis milling machines, ensuring that all components are manufactured according to production schedules and in compliance with quality standards. The role also involves adjusting machine settings as needed to achieve the correct specifications, as well as performing inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure product quality is maintained.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC milling, with proven expertise in setting and operating CNC machines. Experience with Mazatrol and Hypermill programming would be advantageous, although not essential. A strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings is required, as is the capacity to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industries such as aerospace or automotive is beneficial, but not essential.
