FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYST SOUGHT BY BY MARKET LEADING HOSPITALITY BRAND - UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN THIS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE TEAMMy Client is an established British market leader in the leisure/hospitality industry.They are now looking for a Financial Planning Analyst. The jobholder will be responsible for the management reporting for all retail and hospitality profit centres (excluding joint ventures); preparing budgets and forecasts for profit centres; and coordinating the budget and forecast process leading to the consolidation and reporting for the business as a whole.YOU -The ideal candidate profile should be degree-educated; with a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent), or part qualified with relevant experience, working in a commercial and reporting capacity. They should also have previous experience of preparing management accounts and budgeting within a medium/large organisation.Ideally this will be within retail leisure or hospitality.Essential* Qualified or part-qualified ACMA, ACCA or ACA * Experience in a Commercial Finance/FP&A business partnering role* Demonstrable reporting and planning experience in a medium to large corporate entity* Ability to work accurately and to manage tight timelines in a fluid environment* Demonstrable commercial acumen, with the ability to connect the financial numbers with the commercial narrative* Good interpersonal skills, working with different grades of people across the businessKey accountabilities:o Review and interpret historical results (business as usual and initiatives) to improve understanding of the territory's performance and challenge financial information provided by others, ensuring the integrity of internal and external reporting and narrativeo Territory FP&A reporting that provides insight and adds valueo Manage forward looking planning processes and submissions to Group FP&A (weekly outlook, quarterly forecast, budget, 3-year plan)o Other analysis, presentations and reporting as required by the Finance Director, UK&I Executive teams and Group FP&A o The role will be focused on supporting the Commercial (Marketing, Digital and Sales) and Technical Services areas of the business, assisting the delivery of projects that underpin key strategic business initiatives.
