Senior Credit Analyst

£40,000-£50,000+10% Bonus & car, Senior Credit Analyst, Camberley 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will evaluate creditworthiness, assess financial data, and provide insights to help make informed lending decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Credit Analyst:

• Analyse financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess the creditworthiness of clients and potential borrowers.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate risk and return profiles.
• Identify and quantify credit risks associated with new and existing clients
• Recommend credit limits, terms, and conditions based on risk assessment.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and presentations for senior management and credit committees.
• Monitor and track credit performance and compliance with terms and conditions.
• Conduct interviews and gather additional information from clients as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to better understand their business and financial needs.
• Ensure all credit documentation is accurate and complete.

Qualifications for the Senior Credit Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is preffered (not mandatory) 
• CFA or CICM qualified is preffered (not mandatory) 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar financial role.
