Credit Controller - About The Role

In this role, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working alongside 1 other Credit Controller. You will need to have a proactive and organised approach as you will be managing the collection process of over 1000 live accounts. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Allocating and processing daily payments, responsible for submitting daily reports.
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring payments are received, monitoring balances and managing debt recovery.
  • Prioritising those accounts who require further collective activities and planning accordingly.
  • Ensuring all outstanding queries are flagged accordingly and the relevant departments are made aware.
  • Assist with daily receipts posting and identification of bank transactions.
  • Attend and prepare for monthly debtor meetings.
  • Evaluating and improving procedures to ensure maximum efficiency within the function.
  • Carrying out all work practices in line with company policies.

The successful Credit Controller will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Credit Control
  • Excellent customer service
  • A determined and strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
