We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial planning team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial advisers by preparing comprehensive reports and assisting in the development of financial plans for clients. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in financial services while honing their organisational and analytical skills.

This role is designed for someone that has had exposure to paraplanning / perhaps working on some reports / supporting a senior paraplanner and are now looking to take the next step up in their career. If you are currently working in a senior IFA admin role this would also be a potential suitable role for career development.

Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of financial plans and investment proposals for clients.
  • Conduct research on various financial products and services to support advisers' recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain client records and ensure all information is up-to-date within the office systems.
  • Liaise with clients, providing excellent customer service and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the office.
  • Utilise Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis, report writing, and documentation purposes.

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in working in IFA office in an administration capacity or as a trainee paraplanner
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
  • Knowledge of financial service products such as Pensions & Investments.
