Operations Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), maintaining high standards and addressing any performance gaps.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring key initiatives are delivered efficiently.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with business objectives and support future growth.
- Identify potential risks within production and establish mitigation plans.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain appropriate fabric stock levels.
- Regularly assess pricing structures, adjusting in response to changes in material and labour costs to maintain profitability.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring smooth order processing and accurate stock management.
- Manage the After Sales team, ensuring an exceptional customer experience post-purchase.
- Supervise the production team, optimising workflows and coordinating supplier orders.
- Oversee the Sample Fulfilment Team, ensuring stock is well-managed and replenished as needed.
- Establish a scalable team structure to accommodate business expansion.
- Conduct one-to-one meetings and performance reviews, setting clear objectives and development plans.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment with strong accountability.
- Identify skill gaps within the team and arrange relevant training opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment regulations.
- Leverage data and customer feedback to enhance processes and service delivery.
- Continuously identify ways to improve production efficiency, reduce lead times, and streamline fulfilment.
- Ensure warehouse and delivery operations comply with health and safety standards.
- Enable showrooms to manage their sample stock effectively.
- Oversee the fulfilment of sample requests, ensuring timely dispatch within agreed SLAs.
- Implement quality control processes to maintain brand standards and regulatory compliance.
- Maximise the effectiveness of the CRM system, reducing manual errors and inefficiencies.
- Review existing workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate systems for a seamless user experience.
- Work alongside senior leadership to forecast operational needs and allocate resources effectively.
- Evaluate supplier costs annually to ensure competitive pricing and healthy profit margins.
- Update pricing structures across all SKUs and coordinate website updates accordingly.
- Develop and oversee discount pricing strategies for promotional periods.
- Conduct financial analysis to refine pricing models and optimise profitability.
