They are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Furniture and Flooring Salesperson.

The Furniture & Flooring Salespersonwill be involved in:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients visiting the showroom
  • Guiding customers through the selection and purchase process
  • Initiate customer interactions using the existing database and actively engage with potential customers.
  • Manage customer orders from sale to delivery, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Manually handle heavy furniture and flooring products in the showroom, including receiving deliveries and maintaining warehouse inventory.
  • Collaborate with the business owner to develop effective sales strategies and promote best-selling products.
  • Schedule flooring measures at customer residences for our flooring estimator.
  • Assist with marketing and social media campaigns as needed.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure the showroom is well-presented at all times.
  • Occasionally assist with customer deliveries, working alongside the delivery team.

The Furniture & Flooring Salespersonwill have:

  • Strong customer handling skills and the ability to adapt product offerings to meet customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of furniture and/or flooring sales preferred, but outstanding candidates with sales experience in other areas will be considered.
  • College-level education preferred
  • Proficiency in email, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and familiarity with e-commerce websites
  • Knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
