Band 7 Community Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist – Surrey - £30-£35ph!
Hunter AHP have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to secure an ongoing locum contract for within a community rehabilitation team in Surrey.
The role involves Complex case management, discharge planning, AV/HV, supervision of junior staff, multi-disciplinary team working, shared leadership – clinical exemplar, operational leadership. As well as Equipment assessment and provision; moving and handling; orthopaedic, medical and community experience.
The role involves complex moving and handling and community rehab experience!
You will work as part of a wider highly experienced multi-disciplinary therapy team which include occupational therapists, nurses, and assistants.
Key responsibilities of the occupational therapist role as follows:
- To provide a high quality, evidence-based community occupational therapy service.
- To work as an independent clinical professional with well-developed knowledge and skills, problem solving, clinical reasoning and clinical expertise in specialist area.
- To follow up with discharges from the hospital.
