Quality Control Inspector

We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join a precision engineering company based in Farnham which specialize in the production of high precision CNC machined parts for the motorsport & aerospace industries. Currently ISO9001, working towards AS9100 certification.  Opportunity to assist in arranging the inspection department as we work towards new accreditations & grow the company.

Duties will include:

Carrying out First Off, Stage & Final Inspection.

Raising & completing non-conformance reports for Internal, Supplier and Customer rejects.

Carrying out internal & external audits.

First article Inspection.

Assisting with FAIR’s

Maintenance of calibration system.

Maintenance of existing QMS & associated processes & procedures.

Experience & Requirements:

Using a CMM (Aberlink Programmable CMM), Shadowgraph and various inspection measurement tools. (Calipers, Gauges, Micrometers etc)

Good understanding of engineering drawings

Experience of high tolerance work.

Ideally some experience in First Article inspection reports.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ideally conversant with Aerospace Standard AS9100 to assist in the creation & maintenance of new QMS in line with AS9100 requirements.

Hours:

Basic 40hr week.

Flexible start/finish times available as long as basic hours covered & depending on work schedule.

Site Open Hours:

6.00am-6.00pm Mon - Thurs

6.00am-2.00pm Fri

Holidays

20 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus additional day for every year worked up to 25 days.
