Key Responsibilities of an Aspiring Psychologist - Farnham:
- Assist in delivering tailored educational support for students with specific learning difficulties
- Support students in developing their academic skills, particularly in literacy, language, and motor coordination.
- Work closely with teachers and the SEN (Special Educational Needs) team to implement individualized learning plans.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Encourage social, emotional, and academic development in a nurturing environment.
- Support students with classroom activities, assessments, and behavioral strategies.
- Help track and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Promote positive behavior and self-confidence in students.
Qualities of an Aspiring Psychologist - Farnham:
- A recent Psychology graduate (or a degree in a related field) with a strong interest in educational psychology.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with learning difficulties and developmental disorders.
- Experience or a keen interest in working with students with dyslexia, DLD, DCD, or other specific learning difficulties.
- Knowledge of evidence-based strategies for supporting learning and behavior in students with additional needs.
