Learning Support Assistant

• Salary: £90-£100 per day

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a school known for high expectations in behaviour and learning. The ideal candidate will embrace our ethos and contribute positively to our educational environment.

• Provide support to teachers and students in the classroom, working one-on-one or with small groups.
• Conduct small group interventions to reinforce classroom learning.
• Assist children with statements to ensure they can participate in mainstream learning activities.
• Undertake administrative tasks as needed, such as photocopying and report writing.
• Act as an advocate for safeguarding and child welfare, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

• Experience working in a classroom setting, preferably with SEN students.
• Possession of a DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility and a good sense of humour to adapt to the dynamic school environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting students and staff.
