Front End React/ES6 Developer (Ecommerce, 6 Month FTC)Farnham, Surrey (2-4 days in office per month)£65000 - £75000 (Pro Rata for 6 months)Your new companyI am engaged on a project to recruit a React Front End Developer to be a key contributor to a Greenfield project working in the Health & Wellbeing / BioScience sector.This role is offered on a 6 month contract basis and with excellent flexibility around remote working, minimum expectation to go into the office 1 day every 2 weeks. Your new roleYou will be joining a small but expert team working for an owner-operated business in the tech-for-good space. Having grown exponentially year on year in revenue and headcount, including through Covid, it's a great time to be joining and progression is at the forefront of their thinking for the technical team.The business is looking to start expanding into building more custom solutions to provide a better more customised user experience for their customers. The ideal candidate is a front-end focused developer with Ecommerce experience who has worked on large-scale ES6 projects and that can turn their hand to some back-end tasks when needed.You will be a key contributor to building and launching a new greenfield product. What you'll need to succeedWe're looking for a minimum of 5+ years working hands-on with React, TypeScript and ES6.You must have experience working on Greenfield project builds, involved in scoping out, dealing with business stakeholders and having wider input that just coding.You must have Ecommerce/Shopify experience to understand the existing platform and to maximise the integration/development opportunity for the new platform.You should be comfortable taking on back end tasks in Node.js/MongoDB when needed.You should be available to start within 1-2 weeks and will not require Visa sponsorship.
