We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Polisher to join our client’s team. In this role, you will work with a variety of hand and power tools to polish and finish metal products, ensuring they meet the company’s high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metal finishing processes, an eye for detail, and a commitment to safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polishing & Finishing: Use various hand and power tools to polish metal surfaces, achieving the required finish quality and appearance.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for consistency, ensuring surfaces are free of imperfections and meet the company’s specifications.
- Tool Management: Maintain polishing equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly calibrated for each task.
- Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhering to safe work practices.
- Material Handling: Properly handle and position metal parts to prevent damage and facilitate an efficient polishing process.
- Record Keeping: Document work completed, noting any issues or improvements needed in processes or tools.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in metal polishing or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in using hand tools (buffers, grinders, sanders) and power tools for metal finishing.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.
- Safety Focus: Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including proper use of PPE.
- Willingness to work the scheduled hours: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM; Friday, 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
