Our client is one of the best-known manufacturing business across the country in their space. Due to a period of growth we are looking to appoint a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join a well established and dedicated team. If you’re passionate about problem solving, optimising processes, and ensuring equipment runs smoothly, this could be the role for you.

The successful multi skilled maintenance engineer will maintaining and improving a range of machinery from conveyers, wrappers, filling machines and CNCs. You’ll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, diagnosing faults and perform preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and faults, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and repair machinery effectively.

Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Install, test, and commission new machinery as required.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records in line with company standards.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications/Experience:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential.

Strong knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical fault-finding.

A team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations, IOSH, or equivalent.
