Job Title: Clinical Regional Support Manager
Overview:We are seeking an experienced and qualified Clinical Regional Support Manager to lead and enhance the delivery of exceptional care across residential and nursing services. This pivotal role supports Home Managers, drives clinical excellence, and fosters innovation aligned with our vision and philosophy of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve care standards across residential and nursing services in Kent and South East London.
- Lead the development of exceptional clinical practices, providing expert advice and driving innovation.
- Enhance care planning and risk assessment skills through training and mentorship.
- Ensure the nursing team remains current with best practices and integrates them into daily operations.
- Organise and deliver nurse forums to build a skilled and motivated clinical workforce.
- Collaborate with the People Team and Home Managers to recruit, retain, and train nurses, ensuring compliance with mandatory standards.
- Oversee NMC revalidation processes and mentor nurses in maintaining professional documentation.
- Foster a strong nursing workforce by encouraging professional development and contributions to research and publications.
- Review audits and reports, address challenges proactively, and develop action plans for underperforming services to drive quality improvements.
- Provide monthly updates to the executive team, highlighting challenges, barriers, and recommendations.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Nursing Qualification: Essential—Registered Nurse (RGN) Adults.
- Leadership Expertise: Extensive experience as a Home Manager or in a senior care leadership role in residential or nursing care.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to drive improvements, manage risks, and adapt to changing care environments.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of statutory regulations and compliance requirements, including CQC Quality Statements.
- Coaching Skills: Demonstrated ability to mentor and inspire teams to achieve success.
