Finance Manager | Faversham | Up to £60k

This is a superb opportunity to join an international business who have an enviable reputation and presencein the UK. Working in their Kent-basedoffice, this role will work with autonomy ensuring financial compliance across the wider business.Please note this role will be predominantly office-based.

The role:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting working papers including Balance Sheet reconciliations, fixed asset registers, accruals and prepayments.

  • Providing support to the departments in the wider business on budgets and forecasts

  • Project support including new reporting and analysis

  • Preparing VAT returns/reconciliations and submissions using making tax digital

  • Analysis of supply chain

  • Preparation of schedules for audit and communicating with the Auditors

  • Ad-hoc tasks as required to support the Director and the wider senior management team including business improvement reporting and analysis

The ideal candidate:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified with a proven track record of attention to detail, producing accurate work and meeting deadlines in a support role

  • Must be computer literate (all Microsoft packages)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A professional, diligent and friendly manner

  • A team player with a flexible and pro-active attitude
