Deputy Area Manager - Therapeutic IFA

NonStop Care is looking for a Deputy Area Manager who can join a well established Independent Fostering Agency with an Outstanding Ofsted rating, in the South East of England.

They are a therapeutic fostering agency and they provide ongoing therapeutic training.

This is a 12 months permanent role.

Responsibilities:The Deputy Area Manager will support two social work teams (Kent, and Sussex/Surrey) alongside other hub managers.

The Deputy Area Manager oversees the Therapeutic Led Care (TLD) service within these 2 teams, with the support from TLC service and practice managers.

The Kent team has 10 members of staff, inclusive of the DAM. The Sussex and Surrey team has 15 members of staff, inclusive of the DAM.

The Deputy Area Manager is responsible of supervising Clinical Practitioners, Individual Workers, and some Supervising Social Workers (proposed 7 staff members for incoming DAM).

This is a non-caseholding role. The Manager will be based 1 day in Kent, and 4 in Sussex (although can be flexible for example 2 days in Kent and 3 in Sussex). There is some flexibility with home working.

Requirements:Please apply if you are a Senior Supervising Social Worker, a Senior Practitioner or an Assistant Team Manager and if you have experience in fostering. You must have some management experience or experience in supervising staff and a very good understanding of the fostering regulations.

You will also have a Social Work degree and a driving licence.
