Our client is seeking a dedicated Accounts/Administrator to join their team in Crawley.
The Role:
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in the company's financial operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and entering transactions into Xero.
- Managing and processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Handling payroll activities.
- Regularly reconciling bank accounts/statements with precise documentation.
- Monitoring and recording company expenses.
- Supporting the preparation of financial records for audits.
- Performing bookkeeping tasks.
- Managing CIS & VAT returns.
- Ensuring timely and effective credit control.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in an Accounts Assistant role.
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software (1+ year required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- An AAT qualification (achieved or working towards) or equivalent.
The Package:
- Full-time, Permanent
- 25,000 - 40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
- 28 days, inclusive of public and bank holidays
- Company pension
