Pay: £153.85- £238.59 per day
About the school:
Supply Desk are working closely with a small and friendly primary School in East Grinstead, West Sussex, which has been rated as "good" by Ofsted. They have an opportunity for a Key Stage 2 Primary School Teacher to join them in January on a Maternity Cover Contract . This full-time temporary econtract that is lielyto go until the end of the academic year withte possibility of extention
About the role:
To instruct Key Stage 2 students, a qualified primary school teacher is required for this function. Apart from crafting captivating, differentiated lessons that follow the Key Stage 2 curriculum, your duties also encompass assessing student accomplishment, cultivating an inclusive learning atmosphere, collaborating with parents, carers, and peers, and participating in continuous professional growth. To effectively carry out this role, you will need to establish a friendly, inclusive, and behaviour-rewarding classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- To teach pupils according to their educational needs, including setting, marking and assessment of work
- Identify clear teaching objectives and content, appropriate to the subject and pupils being taught and specify how they will be taught and assessed
- Setting high expectations of pupils’ learning, motivation and presentation of work
- Setting clear targets for pupils’ learning with which they agree and understand
- To direct and supervise Teaching Assistants within the classroom
- To cooperate and liaise with other professionals, including colleagues and external agencies
- To set high expectations in terms of behaviour and maintain a good standard of discipline through well focused teaching methods and implementing the school behaviour policy
The candidate:
- Previous teaching experience in a Primary School
- Design, organise, and deliver engaging lessons that satisfy the needs of the students.
- A solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum; a generally upbeat and enthusiastic attitude; effective classroom and behaviour management; and the flexibility to accommodate a range of student needs.
- Hold QTSÂ
- A sincere enthusiasm for teaching and encouraging lifelong learning
- QTS and right towrok in the UK
- Enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one
