- Oversee financial accounting operations, including the preparation of monthly and annual accounts.
- Prepare and manage financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and international accounting standards.
- Work closely with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Manage tax calculations, VAT returns, and other regulatory filings.
- Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management to aid in decision-making.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with deadlines.
- Provide advice on direct and indirect tax matters.
- Ensuring necessary and appropriate internal controls are in place throughout the organisation and that these are reviewed on a continuing basis.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with relevant post qualification experience.
- Previous experience in a financial accounting role
- Strong understanding of UK accounting regulations and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
