This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours) and paying £28,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.Reporting to the Finance Manager, key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare weekly reports, analyse vehicle costs, performance, and variance analysis.
  • Process weekly payroll using Sage 50.
  • Cashflow forecasting.
  • Maintain KPIs.
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly management accounts, annual budgets, and forecasts.
  • Bank reconciliations and support year-end audit.
  • Supervise sales ledger tasks (customer accounts, invoices, credit notes, credit limits, debt collection).
  • Supervise purchase ledger tasks (purchase invoices, credit notes, supplier payments).
  • Manage fuel stock, obtain quotes, and place bulk orders.
  • Analyse monthly expenses and process via accounting software.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Management Accountant position:

  • Previous experience in a similar role essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Logistics distribution and Supply Chain industry experience desirable but not essential
