A client of ours in the Felixstowe area are recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours) and paying 24,000 - 30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Sales ledger responsibilities including chasing debt, monitoring credit limits and processing sales invoices.
- Purchase ledger responsibilities processing purchase invoices and initiating payments.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Assist with weekly payroll.
- Prepare weekly reports.
- Supervision of fuel stock, obtaining quotes and placing orders.
- Analyse monthly expenses.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Finance Assistant position:
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience within a similar role essential
- Intermediate/Advanced excel skills
- Accountancy qualifications desirable
