  • Oversee the customer service department, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships, providing updates and ensuring a high level of service.
  • Manage invoicing, closing off jobs, and generating reports.
  • Keep tariffs updated to minimize queries and improve efficiency.
  • Approach potential new business opportunities and provide competitive rate quotations.
  • Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Confirm and update customer rates accurately.
  • Prepare and check invoices, ensuring accuracy before sending.
  • Respond to queries related to invoicing and payments.
  • Input delivery notes into the system.
  • Chase releases for upcoming deliveries.
  • Monitor landing times and ensure efficient scheduling.
  • Rate all jobs according to existing tariffs or agreed quotes.
  • Chase Proof of Deliveries (PODs) to maintain records.
  • Check outstanding shipping lines not listed on delivery notes.

  • Previous experience in a customer service supervisory role.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
