Tennial Personnel are seeking a permanent Contract Manager to work for Our Client who are a leading UK port business offering end-to-end supply chain solutions, employing over 1,400 people in the UK. With headquarters based in the Northeast of England, our client owns and operates the UKs sixth largest port by volume. Operating out of 11 key ports and logistics centres across the UK, our client is committed to retaining and developing talent nationwide.
Our client and this position is located within Felixstowe. Shift pattern is 8.30am 4.30pm Monday to Friday (flexibility is required, as you will be working outside of these hours on occasions) you will Report directly to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all of our clients service levels are achieved and that product integrity is maintained at all times.

The five main things the Contract Manager will be working on are:
Management of all operations to ensure compliance with Health & Safety
Setting and delivering against budget revenues and costs, including implementing cost effective ideas geared towards improving efficiency and cost reductions
Ensure facilities are maintained so no stock loses are incurred, whilst maintaining accurate stock control through inventory checks
Ensuring timely movements into and out of the warehouse are planned and accomplished
Ensuring warehouse space is utilised to its fullest using the appropriate resources and personnel

Our Client are seeking someone who:
Can ensure all contract targets and key performance indicators are met
Will ensure all warehouse personnel are motivated and have the relevant skills and knowledge to carry out all warehouse processes to maximise productivity and profit
Can ensure the proper and safe operation of all MHE by correctly instructed operators
Can develop customer relationships at various levels with regular service reviews
Is continuously seeking improvements to service.
