Company Description

International transport company based in Felixstowe with a European HQ are seeking an experienced sales professional to join their dynamic team in Felixstowe.

This commercial role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Export European Road Freight who can hit the ground running by bringing existing client connections and generating new business opportunities.

The Role

Develop and secure new business in Export European road freight.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue.

Manage bookings and input shipments where necessary.

Keep CRM systems updated with client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.

Although there is no immediate expectation for client visits, flexibility may be required in the future.

Skills

  • Proven experience in European road freight, RORO would be a bonus
  • A strong commercial mindset with a track record of securing new business.
  • Established client connections that can be onboarded quickly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a high-performing team.
