Key Responsibilities:

Prioritising delivery requirements
Analysing and routing vehicles in the most efficient way
Liaising with the warehouse team regarding weight, space and capacity
Monitoring vehicle progress and rerouting according to updates
Communicating routing decisions to drivers
Liaising effectively with clients and customers

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of two years’ experience in the routing of containers
Transport experience is a necessity
The ability to be meticulous and consistent with close attention to detail
Computer literate with previous knowledge of Destin8 and the port VBS system
The ability to work under pressure is essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexible and adaptable with an excellent attitude to Customer Service
