- BARR Personnel is recruiting HGV Class 1 Day/Night and Tramper Drivers for an ongoing contract in Felixstowe, offering the potential for full-time employment.
- Drivers will work Monday to Friday, with day shifts starting from 04:00 to 16:00 and night shifts from 17:00 to 03:00.
- Tramping positions require four nights out per week, with occasional Saturday runs, and all candidates must have a valid HGV Class 1 license held for at least two years.
- The role offers guaranteed overtime after 10 hours, with no deductions for breaks, and includes holiday pay, weekly pay, and provided uniforms.
- Candidates should possess a digital tachograph card, a drivers CPC card, and have no serious convictions on their driving license, with good communication skills and delivery experience essential.
Minimum standards required are the following;
hgv class 1 licence (CAT C+E) (held for at least 2 years for insurance purposes)
drivers CPC card
digital tachograph card
no DR, DD, DG or IN Conviction codes on driving licence
good communication skill with other colleagues on site
safety boots and hi-viz
delivery experience is essential
