Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Documentation Management: Prepare and process import documentation according to customs regulations and company policies.
Customs Clearance: Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
Communication: Liaise with suppliers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth import operations.
Compliance: Ensure all import activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including customs and trade compliance.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and documentation.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to import shipments, including delays, discrepancies, and compliance matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in an import/export or logistics role is preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with import procedures.
Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Technology: Proficiency in using import/export software and Microsoft Office Suite.
