The Vacancy

About the Role:

Seafast is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team in Felixstowe. This role involves overseeing stock levels, conducting counts, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stock counts across various on-site environments.
  • Obtain and maintain MHE licenses for stock counting tasks.
  • Perform cycle counts and update WMS stock quantities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily stock control tasks.
  • Support department administration and maintain good communication.
  • Assist with day-to-day business activities as needed.
  • Investigate stock errors and report findings.
  • Maintain department records and databases.
  • Monitor customer stock needs and availability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong drive to see tasks through to completion
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience in both office and warehouse environments
  • Understanding of warehousing and supply chain processes
  • Good time management skills
  • Adaptability, drive, and a proactive approach
