The company has been steadily growing for the past 5 years and is looking for a proven Operations Manager to lead their team of traffic operators.
The salary for this position ranges from £45,000 to £55,000, plus a car and bonuses.
Candidates should have a significant amount of container haulage experience and a proven track record in managing and improving a team of operators.
The role involves supervising operators, making procedural changes, and adhering to industry legislation, with additional hours required from 7:30am to 6pm.

The company have grown steadily since their inception 5 years ago and now looking for a proven Operations Manager to head up their team of traffic operators.

Salary £45,000 - £55,000

Plus Car and Bonuses

7:30am - 6pm (additional hours may be required.)

Duties Include

Supervising and assisting their team of operators
Making changes to traffic sheets where appropriate
Ensure fleet in running as profitably as possible.
Training and coaching new and existing staff
Reporting directly to Company Directors
Liasing with drivers and customers where appropriate
Making procedural changes where appropriate.
Adhering to industry legislation (ATD etc.)

Skills Required

A significant amount of Container haulage experience
A proven track record in managing and improving a team of operators
Good team player
Excellent Management skills
Effective communicator
