We are delighted to be working with a well established and respected business based in Felixstowe who are looking to recruit a Contract Manager to join their team.

This is a rare opportunity for a proactive and forward thinking Contract Manager to not only manage a number of important accounts for our client, but to bring new ideas and fresh ways of thinking to the business.

Job Role

As contract Manager, you will manage the operational running of a highly valued logistics contract. You will have the responsibility of safety, people, service, quality, and cost of the site. You will also be required to ensure consistency and stability with high quality performance of the overall operation.

The five key focus areas

  • Management of operational health and safety
  • Management of customer service levels
  • Responsibility of overall site operations and personnel
  • Continuous improvement of quality and standards
  • Management of operational budget forecasting and delivery

We are looking for someone who can ensure all contract targets and key performance indicators are met. You will ensure all warehouse personnel are motivated and have the relevant skills and knowledge to carry out all warehouse processes to maximise productivity and profit. You will need to develop customer relationships at various levels with regular service reviews.
