  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Coordinator to join our shipping client in Ipswich. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of the supply chain process to ensure efficient operations.

    • To effectively liaise with nominated customers for all requirements and ensure that the details of such are in line with their SOP requirement and fully captured accurately and in a timely fashion in line with our internal operating procedures.
    • To ensure that any service changes or updates are included in both a revised SOP and IOP.
    • To attend meetings with the Customer where required.
    • To maintain an excellent level of service for and relationship with the customer in line with company expectations.
    • To ensure that customers are invoiced in a timely manner for services provided.
    • To ensure that any questions/queries arising from all global internal colleagues or the customer's departments (such as buying, merchandising or logistics teams) are responded to effectively and in a timely manner.

    Requirements

    • Will ideally have good working experience preferably within Logistics Supply Chain & Retail Logistics sectors specifically or a working knowledge with carriers / shipping lines and haulage. However, less experienced candidates will be considered as full training will be provided.
    • Excellent customer service and helpful attitude
    • Strong IT skills including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
    • Must be comfortable working with detailed data
    • Good time & deadline management
