Position Summary

As a Warehouse Operations Manager at Uniserve Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our Felixstowe warehouse. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, from inventory control and process improvement to team development and client relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain effective warehouse processes and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.
  • Onboard new clients, ensuring their specific requirements are met and documented.
  • Develop and implement performance management and benchmarking tools to measure and improve warehouse performance.
  • Collect, analyse, and report on warehouse data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Manage and develop the stock control and warehouse supervisor teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Investigate and address any issues or problems that arise within the warehouse.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Desired previous bond/ ETSF area management experience
  • 5 years management experience, previous 3PL or FMCG
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a multi-client, multi-temperature environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software.
  • Experience in the bond process or ETSF is preferred.
