About the Role

As a Warehouse Shift Manager/First Line Manager at Uniserve Group, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse. You'll be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing your team while ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded. Your ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients will contribute to our ongoing success and growth.

The hours for this role are 18.00 - 02.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • First Line Management duties
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet business requirements
  • Manage and mentor supervisors, conducting regular performance reviews
  • Ensure adherence to operational KPIs, health and safety policies, and security protocols
  • Review and maintain equipment, supplies, and the overall appearance of the warehouse
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of leading teams in a warehouse environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive performance
  • Experience in performance management and team development
  • IT proficiency and understanding of logistics and warehousing operations
  • Previous bond/ETSF area management experience (advantageous)
  • WMS experience
